A case study I did to show the buying habits of 'Active' users, based on a company's specific behavioural rating.
This data was taken from a dataset that included over 100,000 thousand users!
I cleaned, grouped and presented the relevant data asked for by the company and simplified it for the non-technical audience.
I have broken down and simplified government figures on, which ethnic group are victims of crime across England and Wales.
If you hover over each bar, you will see where in England and Wales each victim was counted and how many people were recorded as a victim.
Doctor Who has always been a staple in British TV and is generally loved amongst all fans but, does your favourite Doctor pull in the views?
By the time the 7th Doctor came about, views for the show had dipped to an all time low - this may be the reason the show ended back in 1989.
Views from the reboot in 2005 had been steady but declined once the 11th Doctor came in 2014.
But in 2023 we saw a rise again in Doctor Who with the return of David Tennant as the 14th Doctor with Ncuti Gatwa following suit!
*15th Doctor is not shown due to show being ongoing at present. (correct as of June 2024)
Here are all the places I have travelled too in my life!
People often ask me where is the furthest place you have travelled and sometimes I draw a blank because I can't visualise it in the moment, so I have sat down worked out the miles and made this little visual aid!
This also got me thinking about does the amount of miles I travel influence how long In stayed in that country - honestly I don't think it does but it's still interesting to see the data laid out!
How often do you sneeze? Once a month, maybe a few times a week if you're sick?
Well, my husband sneezes on a daily basis! He has no allergies, he isn't sick, he literally just sneezes multiple times a day for zero reason!
So as anyone would do, I took a note of how many sneezes he does and the time of day he sneezes, for each day of the week.
As you can see, I say bless you multiple times a day.
So it only seems fitting to end this summery with a BLESS YOU!
When I watch GBBO at home, I always feel like the POC contestants leave within the first few episodes! So I looked back on every single episode and recorded who was eliminated in each episode to see if there was any foundation for what I thought.
Safe to say it is a white people heavy show with little POC winners BUT I don’t think I found any real proof of discrimination!
Just gets me curious of the diversity ratio in the application process - Is it that more white people apply or are POC just not making it on the show?
Food for thought!
Here is a summary of all the books that are currently on my one of my bookshelves!
From this I can see that book covers that are white is the most popular in my house whereas pink and purple books don’t seem to catch my attention in the same way
Which is weird because I would say pink is my favourite colour!
Do you remember the days when a TV show would have around 22 episodes per season?
Well I do! This got me thinking as to why shows nowadays only do around 8 episodes.
Is it because the quality of the show is better? Is it our attention spans? or there no rhyme or reason and I just need to accept fate?
Either way I just watched the season finale of Doctor Who and thought it felt a little short, so I went back to every single season of Doctor Who, to see how many episodes each season had from 1963 - present.
Clearly in 2005 TV viewing changed and shorter seasons became the new norm :(
